On December 2, 2004 President Bush signed into Law the Individuals with Disability Education Improvement Act of 2004. This law set the minimum Federal standards for educating children with disabilities. However there are many areas where New Jersey Administrative Code provides additional rights and protection for students. On June 3, 2005 The New Jersey Office of Special Education Programs issued "Guidance for Implementation of the IDEIA 2004"
