New Jersey Coalition for Inclusive Education

Making a Difference: Preparing for Public Advocacy
Workshop presented by Diana Autin, SPAN, NJCIE

Parents and professionals can work together to change the policies and practices that encourage exclusion - rather than inclusion. This training will provide the information and tools you need to be an effective grassroots public advocate for inclusive schools. Helpful hints on how to work with others to prepare a public policy "action plan" will be addressed. This workshop will also strengthen your ability to participate in the current debate about reauthorization of IDEA, the federal special education law. Don't sit on the sidelines - be a part of the action!

Tuesday, October 29, 2002, 10 am to 2 pm, East Brunswick public Library No charge, but you MUST register. Call NJCIE at 732 - 613- 0400
